Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has published a Supplement File on it's website [www.icsi.edu] for the Tax Laws and Practice paper applicable for the Executive Programme Students going to appear in Company Secretaries Examination.
The Supplement has been published for the Executive Programme Students going to appear in examination under New Syllabus.
AVAILABLE FOR
The Supplement is applicable for the following students of ICSI:-
Students of Executive Programme for appearing in the Paper "Tax Laws and Practice (New Syllabus)"
TOPICS OF SUPPLEMENT
The Supplement file contain the topic of Service Tax. It contains a brief description on Background, Applicability, Collection and procedural aspects of Service Tax.
The Institute advises it's Students to read the study material along with this supplement as it will form part of the Study Material.
According to the Supplement file issued by ICSI, "The Lesson No. 17 & 18 of Tax Laws and Practice (Part B - Service Tax) need to be replaced with revised lessons 17 & 18 covered in this supplement. "
Students appearing in Examination shall note that all changes made by Finance Act in Service Tax Laws are applicable in the Examination, therefore, this Supplement will be usefull for them.
